| There was a lot to like about this movie. The landscape (Hawaii not Obradors) was fantastic. He was excellent. While the plot had no surprises, (once you understand the premise of the film, you know where it goes, but in the case of this movie, it was fun to find out how to get there), was interesting. The jokes are very funny (especially when Heche shows the character of their inability to cope in situations where there are no meters and mobile phones.). The Six Days Seven Nights movie shows the range of Heche and Ford. It could have done the same for Schwimmer and Obradors, if they had important roles. Since I have never seen a single episode of "Friends" (I know I must be the only person in the world who has not), I can not compare Schwimmer acting in this Six Days Seven Nights Adventure film with his role in "Friends." His performance in this Six Days Seven Nights movie does not compare to his role as Lieutenant / Captain Sobel in "Band of Brothers." Based on this role and "Band of Brothers," seems to prove that Schwimmer has a lot of variety and can play different roles very well. Schwimmer seems to be typecast as inept "loser" who tries hard and always comes second in the final. Unfortunately, he and Obradors appear to be limited to support, rather than comedy roles. Therefore, if you're looking for a light, fun way to spend an evening watching this film. |
| This DVD movie Six Days Seven Nights has been given a bad rap. The beach scene with life raft and the scene at the top of the mountain are two of the funniest bits I've seen in a long, long time. Mr. Ford has always had a gift for comedy, parody - Han Solo, Indiana Jones and now "Queenie." The only flaw of this DivX Movie Six Days Seven Nights is perfectly cast, of course, David Schwimmer. I hope he saved his money from his role in Friends, which is certainly bloody awful on the big screen. Do not even selfish, egotistic, self-interested whining wuss so well, maybe I'm being too harsh. His whining is annoying and is well done. He always convinces me. |
| Before I saw Six Days Seven Nights (which was given to me by a friend to see) and expected a very backward and poor film.Well i saw him and is neither the things that I thought would be, but it is quite something pleasant and enjoyable romantic comedy.Everyone was pretty good Harrison Ford and Anne Heche is the two partners and was a bit strange, but the Six Days Seven Nights movie was funny and what are some things watch.Though was a bit out there and some things little is really original i still found this to be a fun film.Overall Id say this DivX Movie Six Days Seven Nights is worth seeing, but not taken seriously because its not, but quite fun. 7.6 out of 10 stars |
| From director Ivan Reitman (Twins, Evolution) is a very good desert island could have been a little better and more fun, but worth seeing, however. Basically, Robin Monroe (Anne Heche) and her longtime boyfriend, Frank Martin (David Schwimmer) take a vacation to a tropical paradise Makatea in the South Pacific. Arrive and take your hotel in middle-aged airplane pilot Quinn Harris (Harrison Ford), holidays and seemed to go well, for a day anyway. Robin can not escape when their work is urgently needed, so it pays to take Quinn Tahiti, but a storm stopped them, and hit, crash landing on a desert island. They are now struggling for survival in constant dispute, and finally declining slowly for each other. While Frank is trying to get people to look for, while at the same time being tempted by the lure of Quinn friend Angelica (Jacqueline Obradors). Quinn and Robin have become closer to each other and pirates threatening, so they have to work quickly to try to get the plane to fly again. In the end, Quinn and Robin injured Makatea again after defeating the pirates, and Robin and Frank acknowledge their feelings of others, and break, and Robin and Quinn to get his "happy ending". Good! |
| The Six Days Seven Nights Adventure movie has all the pitfalls of mediocrity, but it is a surprisingly good film. In terms of quality, this DivX film Six Days Seven Nights is on the same level as Joe vs The Vulcano. The main reason why this DVD movie Six Days Seven Nights is watchable is the performance of Harrison Ford. Proves once again what a great player he is. Even on light fare is a dominant presence on the screen. Ann Heche and David Schwimmer also offer excellent benefits. There is a part of the DVD film Six Days Seven Nights in which it could have been swept into another, but fortunately the original story of the day. A remake of the bar was enough. The DVD movie Six Days Seven Nights contains pleasant scenery, but stresses that looks can be misleading and that what looks like a paradise can also be a prison from which no escape. |
| In a word ... no. I called more than a romantic comedy, but the trailer did hint at further action that finally appeared on the screen. There is a short clip of Harrison Ford pulling one of the pirates through a waterfall and falls to his death (?). The time of 101 minutes and the very sharp resolution gives the impression that there was more action before someone ordered him to cut. I think this may have been because the producers wanted a unique comedy-adventure Six Days Seven Nights movie when it was being a little more difficult. This is so evident when the pirates (the motor of the film) are in it for about 15 minutes. What remains is only a good movie. It is neither clever nor original, and has no spark or bite. But it has some decent laughs, good music and some nice scenery. But once again proves that David Schwimmer can make a character and can not even do that very well. Six Days, Seven Nights is innovative, but it is hardly a pleasant timepasser. Out of their way not to do so. |
